There are many places to earn a college degree, but there is only one BGSU experience. Join us for a pre-conference visit and explore the No. 1 public university in Ohio for student experience.
Here’s what you can expect if you join us:
10:45 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Arrive on campus and check in for your visit.
11 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
During this 30-minute, staff-led presentation, we’ll highlight the unique majors, programs and experiences offered only at BGSU.
11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Immediately following the presentation, you’ll enjoy a 90-minute campus tour, led by a current BGSU student. Come ready with questions for your tour guide who will be happy to tell you all about life at BGSU.
1:00 p.m.
Visit concludes; Admissions staff will be available for questions and conversation.
All registered guests will also receive:
- Free reserved parking close to University Hall, where your visit will begin.
- A meal voucher; enjoy lunch on campus or pick up Starbucks before heading to Columbus.

Visit Ohio University for a riding tour of campus, academic meet & greet sessions and more! Transportation will be provided from the NACAC conference to Ohio University’s Athens campus. We’ll make the most of your time with us by hosting information sessions on the bus rides to and from campus, so you’re encouraged to ride — and learn — with us. The bus will depart from Columbus at 8 a.m. Eastern. Our visit will begin at Baker University Center, the student center and hub of campus life, at 9:30 a.m. You’ll choose your academic sessions, customizing the visit to your school’s population and needs. Lunch will be provided, so please indicate any dietary restrictions you have on the registration form. If you travel with us, we will return to Columbus by 2 p.m.

Experience Ohio State’s Buckeye Counselor Kickoff, a campus visit day for NACAC attending counselors!
We invite you to this full day, open house style counselor event designed to help you learn more about Ohio State University’s Columbus campus. Programming will be available all day long to provide counselors a flexible schedule to explore our campus and our city. Our event highlights:
- Connect with staff members from the Office of Undergraduate Admissions
- Learn about our first year, international, regional campus and transfer student admission processes
- Take a walking tour of campus with an Ohio State University Ambassador tour guide
- Meet representatives from academic department and student life campus partners during a campus resource fair
- Engage with current undergraduate students and university administrators in spotlight sessions and panel offerings
Roundtrip shuttle transportation from the Columbus Convention Center will be provided. Food and refreshments will be provided.

Explore the Liberal Arts Loop: A Pre-NACAC College Tour
Kick off your NACAC experience with a two-day journey through the heart of Ohio and Pennsylvania to visit three Colleges That Change Lives institutions! Join us for the Liberal Arts Loop, a pre-conference tour featuring Ohio Wesleyan University (Delaware, OH), The College of Wooster (Wooster, OH), and Allegheny College (Meadville, PA).
This is your chance to dive into the distinct experiences each campus offers—tour our campuses, connect with students, faculty, and staff, and discover what makes each of our liberal arts communities truly transformative.
Tour Overview:
- Sunday, September 14: Arrive in Columbus and enjoy complimentary hotel accommodations near the airport.
- Monday, September 15: Visit Ohio Wesleyan and The College of Wooster, with an overnight stay near Wooster.
- Tuesday, September 16: Head to Allegheny College in Meadville, PA, before returning to Columbus that evening—just in time to join fellow NACAC attendees for evening activities.

Join us on a two-day pre-NACAC conference visit to the University of Cincinnati and Miami University! Located both within less than a two-hour drive from Columbus, we will transport you to both campuses where you will tour the campus, meet our students and faculty, and learn more about what each of our universities have to offer. Your visit will begin at the University of Cincinnati. At the end of the day, you will be transported up to Oxford, OH, stay overnight on campus at Miami University, and then enjoy the next day at Miami’s campus, followed by transportation back to Columbus.
Roundtrip transportation from the Greater Columbus Convention Center will be provided.

Join us for the Fall 2025 NACAC College Tour on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, for a full-day, immersive experience designed exclusively for high school counselors. This year’s tour will showcase two distinct institutions—Wilberforce University and the University of Dayton—offering a comprehensive look into their academic offerings, student life, and support services.
The day begins promptly at 8:00 AM with departure from the Columbus Convention Center. The first stop is Wilberforce University, the first Historically Black College and University (HBCU) in the state of Ohio. Counselors will be treated to breakfast, attend an admissions overview, take a guided campus tour, and visit the Buffalo Soldier Museum.
Afterward, the group will head to Dayton, where they will attend an admissions presentation at the Dayton Art Institute. Lunch will follow, providing a full hour for networking and discussion.
In the afternoon, counselors will transition to the University of Dayton campus for a series of informative sessions focused on faith-based engagement, career services and advising, and a student panel Q&A featuring perspectives from multiple academic units.
The day concludes with final remarks and a special giveaway. Buses will depart at 3:30 PM, returning to the Columbus Convention Center by 5:00 PM.
This is a valuable opportunity to connect with colleagues, gain insight into two unique institutions, and bring meaningful updates back to your school communities.
Please understand that capacity is limited, and registering does not automatically guarantee you a spot for the college tour. The University of Dayton will follow up with those registered by August 1st with more details.
