Here’s what you can expect if you join us:

Arrive on campus and check in for your visit.

11 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
During this 30-minute, staff-led presentation, we’ll highlight the unique majors, programs and experiences offered only at BGSU.

11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Immediately following the presentation, you’ll enjoy a 90-minute campus tour, led by a current BGSU student. Come ready with questions for your tour guide who will be happy to tell you all about life at BGSU.

    Join us on a two-day pre-NACAC conference visit to the University of Cincinnati and Miami University! Located both within less than a two-hour drive from Columbus, we will transport you to both campuses where you will tour the campus, meet our students and faculty, and learn more about what each of our universities have to offer. Your visit will begin at the University of Cincinnati. At the end of the day, you will be transported up to Oxford, OH, stay overnight on campus at Miami University, and then enjoy the next day at Miami’s campus, followed by transportation back to Columbus.

    Join us for the Fall 2025 NACAC College Tour on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, for a full-day, immersive experience designed exclusively for high school counselors. This year’s tour will showcase two distinct institutions—Wilberforce University and the University of Dayton—offering a comprehensive look into their academic offerings, student life, and support services.

    The day begins promptly at 8:00 AM with departure from the Columbus Convention Center. The first stop is Wilberforce University, the first Historically Black College and University (HBCU) in the state of Ohio. Counselors will be treated to breakfast, attend an admissions overview, take a guided campus tour, and visit the Buffalo Soldier Museum.

    Afterward, the group will head to Dayton, where they will attend an admissions presentation at the Dayton Art Institute. Lunch will follow, providing a full hour for networking and discussion.

    In the afternoon, counselors will transition to the University of Dayton campus for a series of informative sessions focused on faith-based engagement, career services and advising, and a student panel Q&A featuring perspectives from multiple academic units.

    The day concludes with final remarks and a special giveaway. Buses will depart at 3:30 PM, returning to the Columbus Convention Center by 5:00 PM.

    This is a valuable opportunity to connect with colleagues, gain insight into two unique institutions, and bring meaningful updates back to your school communities.

    Please understand that capacity is limited, and registering does not automatically guarantee you a spot for the college tour. The University of Dayton will follow up with those registered by August 1st with more details.
