Frequently Asked Questions

Below are answers to questions you may have about serving as a reviewer:

We estimate that each proposal will take approximately 5–10 minutes to review. The full review period spans 5–6 weeks (March 19–April 30, 2026), and the total time commitment is expected to be about 4–7 hours.

Each proposal should be assessed using the official evaluation rubric provided.

Comments are not required, but they are highly encouraged. Feedback helps NACAC staff make informed selection decisions.

Comments should highlight constructive observations that would help us strengthen the program. You may note elements such as the session’s clarity, relevance, alignment with the rubric, format suitability, or suggestions for improvement (e.g., speaker expertise, session design, or audience engagement considerations).

No. All evaluations and comments are confidential and visible only to NACAC staff.

Please include that suggestion in your comments when evaluating the proposal.

You may include that recommendation in your comments during the evaluation process.

AbsolutelyWe will make every effort to ensure you are not assigned your own proposal. If a conflict occurs and your proposal is mistakenly included in your assignments, please notify us immediately and we will remove it.

While we appreciate your willingness, we aim to distribute proposals equitably among reviewers. Your total number may vary depending on your expertise and the number of submissions within your assigned content strand.
